Bongani
Khumalo, Fieldwork Manager
Bongani joined C A
S E in late 1998 as a project based fieldworker. In September 1998 he
was given a six month contract as a fieldwork supervisor, and was
specifically tasked to coordinate fieldwork in KwaZulu-Natal, where
fieldwork is often complicated due to issues of access in the context of
traditional structures. Bongani continued to be a project based
supervisor until early 2002 when he was appointed as the permanent
fieldwork manager.

Ntombifuthi Kunene, Fieldwork Administrator
Ntombi was born and raised in Soweto. She completed her matric in 1993
at Letare Senior Secondary School and trained at the Neighbourhood
Advice Resource Centre where she qualified with a Certificate of
Competence in Computer studies. She joined CASE in 1996 as an
administrative assistant, was appointed to the post of receptionist, and
is now working as the C A S E fieldwork administrator. |

Sibongile
Mgweba, Fieldwork
Co-ordinator
Sibongile
was born and raised in the village of Cofimvaba in the Eastern Cape.
She studied towards a diploma in Metallurgical Engineering at the
Technikon in Port Elizabeth, performing practical work while serving as
a technican for the Port Elizabeth Tech Metallurgical Laboratories. She
moved to Johannesburg in 1998, joined C A S E in 1999 as a fieldworker,
and has subsequently been appointed to the position of fieldwork
co-ordinator. Sibongile is currently studying for a National Diploma in
Public Relations. |

Mandla
Vilakazi, Fieldwork Co-ordinator
Mandla worked for
C A S E on contract basis for 6 years, doing fieldwork including
supervising fieldwork, managing huge scale of projects e.g. National
Mental Health Study, Khululeka, HSCR etc. Mandla Vilakazi joined C A S
E permanently in 2004 as a fieldwork co-ordinator
